Blackberry Leaf
Blackberry vines grow vigorously across our farm in rural western Tennessee. In addition to producing deliciously sweet berries every summer, these wild blackberry plants produce leaves with specific skin-healthy vitamins and nutrients.
Blackberry leaf has been studied for its powerful anti-aging properties. It boosts collagen and elastin, promoting firm skin. It also contains an antioxidant that is comparable to Vitamin E, as well as antimicrobial properties.
Calendula
Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Adding oil infused with dried petals to soaps and salves produces an all-natural option for promoting healthy skin. We will soon offer Calendula goat milk soap as one of our herbal soap offerings and Calendula salve.

Chervil
Chervil is an excellent source of vitamin C, iron, and magnesium. As a dried herb, it brings flavor for cooking or as a medicinal tea for aiding digestion.

Chicory
Chicory is an herbal plant that produces both roots and leaves that may prove beneficial for heart and digestive health. We create herbal teas with chicory, but care should be taken to monitor amount of ingestion and how chicory may interact with any medications you take on a regular basis.

Cilantro
Cilantro is beneficial for more than just flavoring food! Researchers have found that cilantro may also reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, as well as contribute to healthy hair and skin.

Dill
Dill is packed with flavonoids and B-complex vitamins and are great for maintaining digestive health.

Goldenrod
Every Tennessee autumn, goldenrod lines our pastures and fields with eye-catching displays of sunny, yellow flowers. Goldenrod flowers have many purposes, but we love it for its ability to reduce inflammation and improve wound healing for our skin.
Jewelweed
Jewelweed is a beautiful plant that grows wild across Dry Hollow Farm. It produces delicate orange and yellow flowers that provide splashes of color in the warm sun of late summer and early fall.
Jewelweed leaves contain antifungal, antihistamine, and anti-inflammatory properties. Salves and soaps infused with jewelweed help to provide itch relief from poison ivy, bug bites, and more.
Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is a member of the mint family and long used around the world to help relieve insomnia, anxiety, digestive issues, menstrual discomfort, and can even help treat cold sores. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties make this a great herb for self-care.

Lemon Basil
Lemon Basil contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, as well as high levels of vitamin K. It also contains minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, and manganese. For skin, lemon basil is a natural detoxifier and promotes rapid healing for abrasions, burns, and rashes. It also creates a nutritious, soothing herbal tea.

Lemon Mint
As a dried herb, lemon mint works as a detoxifier. We dry our harvested lemon mint and offer as an organically-grown, herbal tea.

Lemongrass
Lemongrass naturally contains a healthy variety of antioxidants as well as iron, calcium, and vitamin C. In addition to creating a soothing herbal tea, lemongrass also provides antibacterial and antifungal properties when used as an herbal soap or salve.

Marigold
Marigold flowers are an excellent source of antioxidants and has a therapeutic quality for skin inflammation. We infuse dried marigold flowers in olive oil for use in our herbal goat milk soaps and also produce dried marigold for herbal teas.
