Luffa Firestarters

It is time to begin thinking about how you will light your fireplaces and fire pits on those cold nights! Purchase a set of Luffa Firestarters to quickly light your next fire, or give one to a friend this holiday season!

Firestarters will burn for a full 15 minutes.

Using our Luffa Firestarters are easy!

Simply place the fire starter in your fireplace or fire pit, stack some kindling on top,
and light the paper cup. Once the kindling begins to burn, lay larger logs on top.

At Dry Hollow Farm, a small, family farm in western Tennessee, we raise organic luffa gourds as part of our farm production.

Although we primarily use luffas in a variety of exfoliating soaps (see other listings for these), we discovered these unique dried gourds make excellent fire starters. Encased in scented wax, they quickly erupt into bright, hot flames to easily start any fireplace and fire pit blaze. These fire starters will burn for a full fifteen minutes.
