For our Herbal Salves, organically-grown herbs are infused in olive oil which we combine with beeswax and other natural ingredients to create a skin-nourishing salve.
Lemon Basil possesses anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, as well as high levels of vitamin K. It also contains minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, and manganese. For skin, lemon basil is a natural detoxifier and promotes rapid healing for abrasions, burns, and rashes.
Our salves also contain olive oil (infused with lemon basil), beeswax, and essential oil.
Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and provides many benefits when applied topically to skin. Its properties help to provide skin moisturization, and other benefits include promoting anti-aging, wound healing, deep cleansing, and increased collagen.
Beeswax not only helps to soften skin and lock in moisture, it has antiseptic properties, provides a barrier to help protect skin, and provides vitamin A, which aids in regenerating skin after damage.
